  1. I can’t belive I was a student in Manchester for 4 years and never visited this library. Though I spent many happy hours at the John Rylands library before it became such a tourist attraction


    1. An astonishing place that’s somewhat overshadowed by the equally lovely John Rylands. It was remarkable to sit at a desk once occupied by Karl Marx and Frederick Engels. Worth a visit the next time you’re in the vicinity.
